Satyam

Satyam means truthfulness.
It means being true and consistent with reality in one's thought, speech, and action.
Satyam is a central theme in the Vedas.
It is considered necessary to the concept that is order, rule, nature, balance, harmony.
Satyam is considered essential, and without it, the universe and reality would fall apart.
The Epics are also repeatedly emphasizing that Satyam is a basic virtue, because everything and everyone depends on and relies on Satyam, there is nothing higher than truthfulness.

Practise of Satyam :-
* Being true to oneself.
* Show humility to others.
* Do not wish ill for others.
